here is my completed image (ish). It's felt satisfying sticking from start to finish. It was also interesting to see the illustration used for the Guardian publication. I feel my concept was certainly stronger, but the rendering by the commissioned artist was stronger than my own. this has certainly been a satisfying learning curve for me. I'll try and draw this again when my brand new rotring arrives...
